The 2007 Bugatti Beer race has, unfortunately, had to be cancelled owing to the recent weather. The fields usually used for car parking are heavily waterlogged, and no suitable alternative can be found; the village and surrouning roads will not sustain the required volume of cars. Additionally, some of the local roads have been damaged by the water, the Bugatti Inn was flooded on Friday, and the village of Gretton is without water. All those who have entered will, of course, receive a full refund (note that no cheques have been cashed).
