Three of our Harriers made the trip to Cardiff over the weekend to compete in the Welsh Championships. William Richards-Baldwin was the only one of the three not competing as a guest, having been selected to throw for Wales earlier this season he had high hopes going into the weekend. Richards-Baldwin rose to the challenge producing a superb shot put PB of 17.77 to win the Welsh U18 title. On top of this a best of 48.91 in the discus earned him a second Welsh title of the weekend!

Lucy Bull impressed in the U18 javelin, a best of 51.94 earned her the win. Caleb Green was just 4cm behind his PB in the long jump earning him a 3rd place finish. Caleb also produced a strong performance in the 110m hurdles, running 14.27 for 4th in his heat.
