Congratulations to Caleb Green for taking 1st place at the Schools Indoor International Combined Events Championships. Caleb was selected to compete for England and the long journey to
Glasgow was truly worth it as he left with individual gold, team gold and five new PBs! (Plus one =PB).
Caleb started the competition with a PB of 8.31 in the 60m hurdles, he then produced a shot put PB of 13.49 and a 200m PB of 22.78. In the long jump he equalled his best with 6.52. The standings after four events were incredibly tight meaning every second counted in the 800m. Caleb knocked 4 seconds off his previous best running an amazing 2:01.09 and winning the competition by one point! His overall score of 3860 was his 5th PB of the day.
