Over the weekend Aidan John smashed the clubs 60m record! The U17 not only lowered his age groups record (set back in 1996) but also took down the U20 and Senior marks too becoming the first Harrier ever to break the 7 second barrier!
Competing at the Lee Valley Indoor Open Aidan ran 6.98 seconds in his heat – his first sub 7 performance. Not done there he took to the track for the final and ran a blistering 6.90!
The performance takes him to 4th in the UK U17 rankings for the year and to 24th on the UK all time U17 list!
