A final reminder that Shine@Athletics fun athletics summer scheme takes place at the Prince of Wales Stadium on 17th, 18th, 19th and 21st August – straight after the European Championships.
Elliot will be reunited with track team 500 for starting blocks, lane markers and hurdles setting up, with whom he helped at the London 2012 Olympics and subsequent competitions – they’ll be fresh from the excitement in Birmingham when the scheme starts at 10am on Monday morning.
The brilliant summer scheme, which is supported by CACH club coaches and many young helpers, has over 80 athletes signed up in total with Monday the most popular day at present with 70 athletes. We have a capacity of 90 each day.
Therefore, it is not too late for your child to sign up if they would like to come along and give it a go!
