George Watson competed in the Valencia 10k running an impressive 29:19 – one of the quickest times in the history of the club!!
Back in England Seniors were competing in the Midland and Birmingham Cross Country Leagues.
The women’s team finished in 16th place led by Ciara Thornley competing in her first Midland League and finishing in an impressive 13th place. Nicole Frith had originally finished in an amazing 9th, but unfortunately due to accidentally going off course slightly was DQ’d. The team was completed by Petra Vymetalova in 72nd, Jo Wilkie in 90th, Lucy Goode in 96th and Angela Pippard in 98th.
The men’s team came out in force finishing 9th A team and 4th B team. Led by Harrison Miles in a superb 27th with Robert Finch also making the top 50 in 35th.
