The cross country season reached its big finale at the English Schools Cross Country Championships. Being selected to run is a big achievement in itself – congratulations to all 18 Harriers who made it!
Erin Musty has had a strong cross country season but produced by far her best ever performance! Erin finished in an unbelievable 4th place in the Senior Girls race just 7 seconds behind the podium. Similarly, in the Senior Boys race Sam Wilson also produced a breakthrough performance to finish in 8th place! Both Sam and Erin have another year in the age group and these performances suggest they’ve an exciting summer season to come!!
Maddie Thomson also made the top 20 finishing a superb 15th in the Inter Girls race and Jack Shingler finished just outside the top 20 in the Junior Boys race in 25th.
