Congratulations to all the Harriers who competed in today’s Gloucestershire County Championships. We had two club records fall the U15 boys Javelin and U15 Girls 4x100m!
Hugo Bucher raised the Javelin record with a huge PB of 62.12! This added 8 metres to his previous best and over 4 metres the previous record set all the way back in 1993. The throw will solidify his place at the top of the UK rankings and move him to 7th in the UK All time rankings.
Bonnie Shirlaw, Verity Gaskin, Alicia Taylor and Naomi Lawal formed the U15 4x100m team who looked unstoppable as they cruised round the track to win against older competition in 51.1! They took 0.1 of the previous record set in 2004 (6 years before any of them were born!)
