Club Records – Isla Pain

Rachel See July 9, 2025

*Club Record*

No, we can’t quite believe it either but Isla Pain has been busy breaking 2 more records in the last 2 weekends!

She in fact broke the U20W Heptathlon record in April with 4610 points but went on to break it again on 27 June at the ESAA Regional Combined Events SW Champs with 4780 points! This shatters the previous record set in 2014 by 283 points!

A week later Isla was still in great form, equalling  the club record – also from 2014 – with a fabulous jump of 1.75m at the Upper YDL in Swansea.

Isla currently ranks 5th U20 in the UK for heptathlon, 5th for pentathlon, 6th for indoor pentathlon, 4th for high jump (14th over all ages!!) and 19th in the 100m hurdles – all in her first year as an U20 too!

We wish her the best of luck at the ESAA Nationals this weekend!
