*Club Record*
The final event of our third Midsummer Open saw Erin Musty smash through the club U20 5000m record. This was no easy record to beat having been set in 2022 by GB athlete Kaitlyn Sheppard. Erin ran a very impressive 16:38.60 taking 7 seconds off the previous record and going under the qualifying standard for the European U20 Championships.
The time places her 10th in the UK in only her first year in the age group!
