England U15/U17/U20 Indoor Championships 2026

Rachel See February 8, 2026

Congratulations to Aidan John on winning Bronze in the U17 60m at the English Indoor Championships!

Aidan’s impressed already this season with a big club record last month meaning he came into this championship with some expectation on his shoulders. Unfazed Aidan smashed his heat winning in 6.93. In the semi-final Aidan finished 2nd lowering his Club record down to 6.84 and easing into the final. The final was highly competitive with the winner lowering the championship record, Aidan was able to keep his cool and finish a superb 3rd in 6.86 – his second quickest time ever!

Pablo Cox-Sonora took part in the U20 60m running a PB of 6.93 in his heat to earn a place in the semis where he finished 5th in 6.97. Oscar Beattie ran well in the U17 200m to finish 3rd in his heat in 23.16. Jack Shingler made a rare indoor appearance finishing 6th in the U15 1500m in 4:17.87 and Isla McRitchie was 8th in the U15 high jump with a best of 1.45.
