Isla Pain – Combined Events International 2025

Over the weekend Isla Pain competed for England at the Home Countries Combined Events International in Belfast.

Isla took part in the U20 Heptathlon winning in style with a final score of 4765. She opened the weekend with 15.08 in the 100m hurdles, giving her the lead from the start. Next up was her strongest event, the high jump. Isla cleared a best of 1.71, 18cm higher than anyone else in the event and stretching her lead to further. In the shot put Isla came out on top again with a best throw of 9.56 and then concluded day one with 26.75 in the 200m giving her the lead overnight.

Isla opened day two with her first personal best of the weekend, 5.43 in the long jump and followed it up with two more, 26.26 in the javelin and an impressive 2:25.77 in the 800m.
